Beads and Handmade Custom Jewelry

Closing This Blog.

If you haven’t been to my new Facebook page yet, or lately, you probably haven’t noticed that I changed my page name.

My jewelry has gone through a lot of changes over the years, as I’ve dabbled and experimented to find my niche. Life really does lead us down some interesting roads to places we never imagined we’d *ever* end up.

I’m currently taking a class on starting my own online business. I want to get it right this time and not go half-assed, barely-more-than-a-hobby.

My first step is changing the name of my jewelry line:

Anaïs Áine Jewelry.

Next step, working on a website. This class truly is a step-by-baby-step process.

I was originally going to create a business based on homeschooling and helping other parents make the transition.

I was really excited about it in the beginning, and then my ADD started to kick in. Yeah, I got bored with it and couldn’t focus. My brain came to a screeching halt.

Making jewelry has been one of the few things that I have not grown bored with and still love doing.

I can still help parents with homeschooling through blogging and guest-blogging, and making a little extra cash in the process.

I read this quote the other day: “Follow your passion. It knows where you should go.”

So that’s what I’m doing.

I am closing this blog, too, since I’m changing the name, and my website will have my shop and a blog on it.

If you’d like to see what I’m up to, please, like my Facebook page and/or follow me on Pinterest!

As I read this post I was thinking ~ “Follow your passion” and there you said it! I am so happy for you in finding, knowing and keeping your passion. We will have many, many interests but few passions in life. Only through these passions do we give to ourselves, and to the world; the best of what lies dormant inside. Go for the golden ring darlin’ ~ all of us deserve that!

I haven’t read any blogs for months AND I ALREADY KNEW THIS. Thanks for being Facebook friends. 🙂 Now, can you just tell me how to pronounce the second half of your new jewelry name? (Please. Thank you!)

It’s ana-ees awn-ye. Not really sure how to write out the pronunciation. Still working on it – a good friend told me I should put the pronunciation in a graphic, like in the banner.

My jewelry will be more geared toward spiritual meanings with the stones and their properties (healing, love, positive energy, prosperity, etc.). And I’ll do birthstone jewelry, as well. All unique and one of a kind to the customer. So I wanted a name to fit that.

      See you on FB! 🙂

That’s great. And I got the Anais part (although I have no idea how to make umlauts on my computer), but I was giving myself fits trying to figure out the second half. Very helpful. Thank you. 🙂 And yeah, a pronunciation graphic would probably be just the thing.

I love your ideas. Good luck! And indeed, see you on Facebook!
